Review of The Kiss of a Stranger

First of all, I don’t think the synopsis on the cover of this book does The Kiss of a Stranger any justice. I almost didn’t read it because the synopsis didn’t interest me, but I am definitely glad I picked it up and decided to read it!

My favorite part about this book was Catherine, the supposed maid who Crispin kissed to get back at the woman who has made it her mission to try to get Crispin to propose to her. Catherine starts out as a sweet and timid woman who doesn’t believe she deserves much or accounts to anything. But just watching the interaction and slow relationship building between Crispin and Catherine gave me the happies in my heart! I LOVED it!!! There was a lot of very obvious flirting and I loved when Catherine would open up once in a while and be her true self.

The most frustrating part of this book was the obvious growing feelings between the two but a huge misunderstanding nearly tearing the two of them apart. I would have been SO sad if they got an annulment! Crispin is too much of a gentleman and Catherine is often too selfless, making this misunderstanding absolutely excruciating!!

I love this book and I’ll recommend it over and over again to anyone who will listen! Love love love!
