Review of Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson

Okay, so I admit that I have never finished a Jane Austen novel. Although I love the movies (really love them to the point where I have to watch them alone because my husband refuses to watch with me), I haven’t felt any particular interest reading the books. However, my interest in regency novels blossomed when I read Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson. This is the book that started it all.

I could NOT put this book down, let alone stop busting a gut every five seconds! This author is incredibly witty and captures the stories, the characters, and the plot very well in a way that draws the reader in. It contains a sweet, clean romance that would set my heart racing at every encounter, and Marianne is a very relatable character. Perhaps we all need to spin once in a while!

This is definitely a wonderful book and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in the regency era or sweet romances. Highly recommend!
